TOUR 1 - The Museum at De La Salle University

Tour 1 is a visit to The Museum at De La Salle University. This will be at 5:15-5:45 pm at 2/F Don Enrique T. Yuchengco Hall.

As part of its 15th year anniversary, The Museum, brings to the fore a three-part exhibition series entitled, Ako. In its aim to showcase Filipino artists' identity, Part 3 displays a collection of sculptures and two-dimensional multicolored works.

The exhibition features sculptures from the Wili and Doreen Fernandez art collection of The Museum at De La Salle University and the University's collection. The works represent a wide range of techniques, forms, and materials in various three-dimensional subjects created by national artists such as Guillermo Tolentino, Napoleon Abueva, Arturo Luz, and Abdulmari Imao, and works by other prominent Filipino sculptors including Julie Lluch, Eduardo Castrillo, Lor Calma, Solomon Saprid, and Baidy Mendoza. The show also includes Toy Tops (Trumpo series) by Fernando Modesto and Untitled Works of multicolored envelopes on paper by Roberto Chabet. Each work is an artist's interpretation that alludes to motion using lines, forms, and colors.

Tour 2 is a visit to the University Library or The Learning Commons at Henry Sy, Sr. Hall. This will be at 5:45-6:15 pm.
